too many incorrect PINs — wait
Ten wrong PINs in five minutes on one terminal lock that terminal's PIN entry for a few minutes. Other terminals are not affected. Wait it out; there is no override, because the lock exists to stop someone guessing.
If it keeps happening on a busy night, the usual cause is a new hire whose PIN was never set, or two people with the same PIN. A manager fixes both in Team & roles.
