When the dashboard has set up named discounts, the Discount sheet opens with them first: Happy hour · 20% · Staff meal · 50% · Manager comp 🔒. One tap picks the whole thing, the preview shows the new total, and the name is the reason on the record unless you type another.
- A 🔒 discount needs a manager's PIN; the others take any PIN with discount permission.
- Typing a value or tapping a kind under OR AD HOC drops the name and makes it an ordinary discount.
The Z-report's EXCEPTIONS and the dashboard's reports list discounts by their name.
