- 1Yusker rang on the card terminal is every Credit and Debit tender tonight, sales plus tips, what the terminal's batch should read.
- 2Print the batch on the terminal and type its total under Total from your card terminal's end-of-day batch (sales + tips). Tips on the batch are optional.
- 3The line under it answers as you type: Balanced in mint, or −$14.06 vs Yusker in amber. Check the terminal before you close; the variance goes on the record.
- 4Close the day. The record shows Card terminal batch, Variance, and recorded on the close ✓.
Leave it blank if there was no card terminal tonight. A mis-keyed record stays open to a re-key: key it again and close again.
