A takeout or delivery that has not been paid wears a red chip on its kitchen card, its pass card and its rail card:

The figure is what is still owed. Take it at the till before the bag leaves the window; the chip clears the moment it is paid. A prepaid app order reads Paid ✓ on the rail instead.
Dine-in tables never wear it. A table is unpaid until the end by design, and the pass is not where that gets collected.
