A shared terminal logs itself out after Off / 30 / 45 / 60 seconds without a touch, so the next person cannot ring on the last one's name. The last five seconds count down in the header; any tap resets it. It never fires mid-payment, while the till is sending, or on a kitchen, bar, expo or board device.
