When the line shouts "86 wings", whoever is at the till answers it. No PIN.
- 1Tap 86. It reads 86 — tap an item.
- 2Tap the tile. It greys out, wears a 86 badge, and the guest app stops offering it at once.
Smoked Wings is 86'd — off the menu until someone brings it back.
To bring it back, tap 86 then the tile again. Tapping an 86'd tile without the mode rings nothing and says so. Other terminals see the badge the next time they open an order.
ⓘ The dashboard's menu editor sets the same switch; the till and the dashboard never disagree for longer than one order screen.
