The same sheet, two moments.
On an open check🧾 Bill. BILL FOR THE TABLE, with the balance due, a QR the guest scans to pay in the app, email and text for the pay link, and 🖨 Print bill with the QR drawn on paper: "Scan to pay · or pay your server". No tip line; the tip is added on the phone.
On a paid check🧾 Receipt. RECEIPT FOR THE GUEST, with the total paid, a QR to the digital receipt, email and text, and 🖨 Paper copy.
If the bill is open on the till when the guest pays on their phone, the sheet turns into the receipt by itself.
The paper carries the venue's official header: logo, name, address, phone, tax number, and one tax line per authority. Owners fill those in on the dashboard.
